

Fly, Fly Butterfly!
Our Reception children have been captivated over the past few weeks as they observed the incredible life cycle of butterflies right before their eyes. From tiny caterpillars to beautiful butterflies, the children were excited to witness each stage of this fascinating transformation. If You See a Crocodile
Last week we welcomed Gazebo Theatre Company to school. Both Reception classes watched their interactive production of "If you see a crocodile." All the children had great fun singing songs and helping mother duck find her five little ducks.


People Who Help Us
This half term the Reception theme has been “People Who Help Us.” We have learnt about the roles of doctors, nurses, firefighters and lollipop people. We have been role playing in our doctor’s surgery and had lots of fun outside, painting flames and pretending to be fire fighters putting out fires. We even got to meet a firefighter. He showed us his uniform, and we were able to ask lots of questions. This week we had a visit from a lollipop lady and she taught us how to cross
