Welcome to Spring Vale Primary School

Primary aged children have been born into a time of unimaginable technological and world change. It is our role in school to equip our children with the skills needed to meet the challenges which lie ahead of them, while at the same time holding on to values which are important.

We want our pupils to leave Spring Vale Primary School with high academic and personal achievements, with a respect for each other and, above all, with a sense of pride and high self-esteem.

Their education will have begun on the day they were born and we value the role that parents play in their children's education. It is our job to build on those early years and to work with you to equip them with skills they will need to cement the foundations to life-long learning.

If we can achieve this and the children come to school with a skip in their step, a smile on their faces and an excitement in their hearts then we will all have succeeded!

Year 5 trip to the National Space Centre

This week, Year 5 have had an inspiring and memorable visit to the National Space Centre, where their curiosity about space and science truly came to life. Throughout their day, the children explored interactive exhibits, discovered fascinating facts about planets and space travel and were amazed by the iconic Rocket Tower. Year 6 Residential Whitemoor Lakes

Both Year 6 classes (Magpies and Robins) enjoyed an unforgettable three-day residential at Whitemoor Lakes, packed with adventure, teamwork and plenty of laughs. From high-energy activities like climbing, archery and canoeing to an evening campfire and team challenges, the children embraced every moment with enthusiasm and resilience. Fabulous Fruit Tasting

Our Year 1 children explored a rainbow of fruits for their Design Technology topic on fruit kebabs. They loved the sweet strawberries and juicy oranges — but the lemons were a big surprise! “Sour!” was the word of the afternoon. What a zesty way to learn about flavours and healthy eating!
